Awtad Copper LLC (ACL) is a mineral exploration company based in Northern Oman, operating in partnership with Alara Resources. Focused on advancing Oman’s mining sector, ACL is driving exploration and discovery of new copper and gold resources with the potential to support the nation’s long-term growth. One of its key assets is Block 8, a concession area in Northern Oman that hosts highly prospective mineralization. In October 2024, AIM-listed Power Metal Resources plc, a London-based exploration and development company with a global portfolio, entered into a farm-in agreement with ACL, enabling it to earn a 12.5% interest in the Block 8 project. This partnership not only enhances the project’s technical and financial capabilities but also represents a significant step forward in accelerating exploration activities and unlocking the block’s full potential.
